Break Your Negative Cycle

Learn the key components of successful relationships and how to practically apply them to your relationship. We'll go through 7 Key Conversations, based on Sue Johnson's best seller, Hold Me Tight 7 Conversations for a Lifetime of Love. Our instructors will teach you about each topic. You'll have personal time with your partner and our guidance to apply that information to your own relationship. The workshop is designed in a way to make sure you feel comfortable and don't have to share any information with the group that you'd prefer to keep private.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What will the teaching format and participant involvement look like?
A. Each key topic will be broken up into sections. For each section (referred to as "conversations" above), the instructors will teach important concepts about relationships and how to apply them to the group, then you and your partner will have a chance to work through specialized worksheets and apply the material you learned to your own marriage. Instructors will be available to support you as you work as a couple.

Q. What if I am not comfortable sharing with the group?
A. No problem. You will only have to share what you feel comfortable with. You'll still gain from the instructors teaching and from your one-on-one work with your partner. Instructors will also check in on you and be available to answer questions as you do the one-on-one work with your partner.

Q. Is this group therapy or a replacement for therapy?
A. This workshop will be run by experienced marriage therapists who will provide education and feedback on how to improve your relationship, but it is not a replacement for individual, couples, or group therapy.
